What is Mogick desktop

Mogick desktop is a local AI workbench for engineering modeling, simulation, and analysis. It puts project management, AI sessions, run results, model viewing, an integrated terminal, and diagnostics in one window.

Product positioning

Mogick desktop is not a replica of a traditional IDE. It is currently closer to an AI workbench for engineering projects:

  • Manage projects and historical sessions on the left.
  • Initiate conversations and view AI sessions and task progress in the middle.
  • View the running results, project files, model files, embedded browser and external tool entrance on the right side.
  • Help menu, terminal entry and window control are provided at the top.

Main abilities

The main capabilities currently supported by the desktop include:

  • Project creation, listing, renaming, deletion and persistence across reboots.
  • Conversation sending, recovery and historical message viewing.
  • Login status synchronization and login guidance when account capabilities are required.
  • Code blocks, file cards, file editing prompts and to-do status in AI output.
  • Permission request and security confirmation.
  • Product file tree, directory expansion, text preview and file right-click menu on the right.
  • Model text view and graphical view entry for .mo files.
  • Integrated terminal, terminal label, search and right-click menu.
  • Embedded browser, new tab page, address bar and invalid address blocking.
  • Help menu, help document entry and about dialog box.
  • Model selection, mode selection, external tool entrance, shortcut keys and troubleshooting of common problems in the conversation area.
