Quick start
This page helps you get started for the first time, create a project, initiate a session, and view results.
Install and start
- Download and install the desktop version from the Mogick official release channel.
- Start Mogick.
- Follow the interface prompts to complete login or model connection configuration.
- After entering the main interface, you will see a three-column workbench.
The three columns correspond to:
- Left side: projects and sessions.
- Middle: chat and task process.
- Right side: Product, file tree, browser and tool entrance.
TIP
If the message cannot be sent or the model list is empty, first confirm the model selector and account connection status at the bottom of the session input area.
Create and activate project
- Create a project in the project area on the left.
- Fill in a name for the project and select the local project directory.
- After successful creation, the project will appear in the list on the left.
- After activating the project, the middle conversation area and the right product area will work around the project.
The project will be saved locally and will still appear in the project list after restarting the desktop.
Complete the first session
- Describe your task in the middle input box, such as asking Mogick to interpret the current project structure, check a certain model file, or generate a small verification script.
- After sending the message, Mogick will start processing the task and return the results in the session area.
- The conversation process, messages and results will be synchronized back to the desktop interface.
- If you need to call tools or request permissions, follow the interface prompts.
