Slash commands
Slash commands are available only in the interactive TUI. Type / to search, then press Enter to run a command. /resume is a search alias for /sessions, not a separate command.
This page covers commonly used commands, not every registered command. Type / in your installed version to see available commands; availability can depend on authentication and runtime capabilities.

Sessions and changes
Use /rename to rename the current session. You can also expand the /sessions list and rename a session there. /fork creates an independent session from saved history and settings. /rewind restores history and eligible files; see Checkpoints.
/changes displays file changes associated with the current session. /review starts a read-only review, with the results displayed in the Changes panel:
/review focus on security
/review check backward compatibilityReviews do not modify files. For Changes-panel controls and Git Evidence, see Review and track changes.
Models and providers
Starting with version 26.9.24, use /connect to connect a custom model. Mogick supports multiple providers; use /models to select a model that is already available. For manual configuration, see Authentication and models.
/models displays enabled models from llm.providers[], grouped by provider. After you select a model:
- With a multi-provider configuration, Mogick writes
llm.default_model. - With only a legacy single-provider configuration, Mogick writes the compatibility field
llm.model. - The current session switches immediately; restoring an old session still uses the model saved in that session.
Use provider-id/model-id for the model ID, for example team-a/code-model. See Authentication and models.
MCP, tools, and Skills
Use /mcp to view server status and connect, disconnect, or reconnect. /tools shows tools registered in the current session. /skills rescans Skill paths and displays available Skills.
An MCP server configured with startup: "lazy" appears as cold until connected, so its tools may not be visible immediately. Connect it through /mcp or let the agent discover it on demand with MCP meta-tools. See MCP integrations.
Permissions, memory and context
/permissions switches between read, workspace, auto, and yolo. /memory controls future memory retrieval and extraction; it does not delete saved memories.
/compact manually compacts the context. Runtime configuration controls automatic thresholds, summary structure, and limits. See Context compaction.
