26.10.16 Version Release 🚀

New features and improvements

Key highlights

  • ⭐️ SysCAD Lite: Upgraded AI modeling and parametric design.
  • Simulation animation: Simulate the current model directly and click an MSR result to replay its motion. Playback state is retained when switching tabs, results can move with the original model, and canceling simulation preserves the original model.
  • Modeling tools: Added 34 desktop tools, bringing the total to 45, including 16 for model libraries and parametric assembly. Provides 96 scripting APIs covering curves, feature modeling, geometric constraints, and parametric rebuilding.
  • Installation and reading: SysCAD now parses MSR animations directly, without manually configuring a reader or Python path. Python is no longer bundled, reducing the installer size.
  • ⭐️ Mogick kernel: Keeps checking the network after a disconnection and resumes the response as soon as connectivity returns. Connection refusals and certificate errors are tried only once; manually stopping generation no longer triggers recovery retries.
  • Mogick kernel: Improved MCP tools to avoid call loops. Repeated parameter errors from the same tool no longer cause the entire task turn to fail.
  • Mogick kernel: Change review now includes files modified by MCP tools and excludes intermediate files from the change list.
  • ⭐️ Conversation viewing: Thinking and tool calls are collapsed by default and can be expanded by turn or individual section. Consecutive calls to the same tool are grouped.
  • Charts: Mermaid diagrams support titles, collapsing, copying, and an enlarged view.
  • Change review: Shows file changes made by MCP tools and filters out temporary files created and deleted within the current turn. Git commit errors end the wait promptly, and duplicate commits are avoided when the result is unconfirmed.
  • UI improvements: Names appear promptly after sending files, images, or skills. Regular and pinned conversations are sorted by recent activity; archiving or deleting a conversation automatically switches to a neighboring one. Account information display has also been improved.

Bug fixes

  • Mogick kernel: Fixed model services remaining unavailable after recovery and individual service errors affecting other models. Timeouts now clearly explain the cause. Context usage after retries reflects the latest request instead of being counted repeatedly.
  • Mogick kernel: Fixed the TUI and APP being unable to start simultaneously.
  • Mogick kernel: Fixed a batch of tool defects.
  • SysCAD: Models outside the project can open directly without switching projects or copying files. Fixed newer product versions failing to load and errors when opening files while switching documents. Canceling an open operation preserves the original document, tabs, and directory selection. Language and theme follow Mogick.
  • Conversation display: Fixed duplicate messages, completed responses incorrectly showing a stopped indicator, blank code blocks in long conversations, duplicated text or excess top spacing in thinking sections, and display errors after switching languages. Full response text remains available when returning to a conversation after stopping generation. Sending a message scrolls to the bottom; scrolling up again allows continued reading of history, and switching to long conversations restores the correct position. Search no longer includes trailing thinking text, and verification responses after file generation are retained correctly.
  • Plan execution: Fixed repeated confirmation requests after edits, execution failures, or restarts. Older plans are collapsed and the current plan is shown in full. The execution action appears after generation completes, and input remains available during execution. Failed writes no longer produce misleading plan cards. Plans and to-dos are not shown twice, and the mode no longer switches incorrectly when there is no executable plan.
  • Questions and tools: Fixed AI being unable to find pasted image attachments. Questions with too many options retain the first four to avoid failure. Fixed garbled Chinese characters in some command output on Windows.
  • File preview: Fixed false failure reports when first opening models, blank screens when switching or closing file diff views, unresponsive file and directory links, and code blocks failing to copy.
  • Formulas and model diagrams: Fixed LaTeX formulas appearing as source code and multiline formulas turning body text red or breaking headings and tables. Fixed overlapping Modelica model names and units, and misalignment during zooming.
  • Login and startup: Fixed an inability to reconnect after signing out during startup. Invalid saved service addresses now fall back to the default address to avoid errors when reading settings.
